Who is responsible for your data
La Voluterie is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@lavoluterie.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send through the contact form, which is your email address and your message. We use them solely to reply to you. We never sell them and never use them for advertising.
Our lawful basis
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) we rely on your consent, given by ticking the box on the contact form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us. Technical logs kept by our host are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Who else handles it
Contact form messages pass through a Google service (Apps Script) and are stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet that only the editorial desk can open. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses to serve pages and protect the service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, whose servers receive your IP address.
International transfers
Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Cookies
In line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the site sets no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Our host may use a strictly necessary security cookie, which does not require consent.
How long we keep it
Contact form data is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your message, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise those rights, write to contact@lavoluterie.com.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Under-18s
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The version published here is the one that applies.
